Held just before the Emmys, this elite brunch awards event commemorated women’s achievements and generated awareness of the importance of preserving women’s history, highlighting the need for a national women’s history museum on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
Attended by young philanthropists and influencers from the worlds of entertainment, fashion, and business, the event featured a tasty three-course brunch accompanied by inspirational words and impactful skits by major women’s advocates.
In honor of their significant contributions to their field and for serving as an inspiration to women everywhere, actress, producer and activist Kerry Washington, Instagram COO Marne Levine, and SpaceX President and COO Gwynne Shotwell were each presented with the “Women Making History Award”.
