For the past 10 years, April Trigg and the eventologie team have worked with Southface Energy Institute on their annual Visionary Dinner. The 16th Annual Southface Visionary Dinner was held at the historic Fox Theater with Keynote Address by Andrew Winston. Guests enjoyed a five-course feast prepared by local celebrity chefs with all food product and floral supplied by Whole Foods Market and service staff provided by Dennis Dean Catering. The 2014 Visionary Dinner celebrity chefs include — Mary Moore of Cook’s Warehouse, Todd Richards of The Shed and the Pig & the Pearl, Thorir Erlingsson, Institute for Culinary Sustainability + Hospitality at KSU, Chris Raucci of Ted’s Montana Grill and Keith Schroeder of High Road Craft Ice Cream.
The event raised awareness and funding for Southface’s continued work in sustainable community development, high-performance building, affordable housing, and green jobs training. This effort reaches thousands of policy makers and attracts over 500 high-profile leaders from business, government, non-governmental organizations and a growing body of interested and concerned citizens.
