Always a culinary delight, April Trigg and the eventologie team once again worked with Southface Energy Institute on their annual Visionary Dinner. Taking place at the Georgia Aquarium, the regionally sourced, organic five-course wine-paired feast delighted attendees with newly created interactive stations as the first and last courses, allowing for ample networking opportunities during the evening. In honor of Southface’s new president, another unique aspect was the lineup of all women chefs: Lane Barton, Maureen Beebe, Denise Knapp, Allean Brown, Jiyeon Lee, Megan McCarthy, Mary Moore, and Veronica Wandui.
Centered around the changing landscape for collaboration amongst cities to create healthy and resilient communities through the eyes of national leaders’ philanthropy, the event raised awareness and funding for Southface’s continued work in high-performance affordable housing, green infrastructure, clean energy, healthy buildings and sustainable communities.
