“This event commemorated the achievements of women, while generating awareness of the importance of preserving women’s history and building a national women’s history museum on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. The event honored a diverse group of accomplished women representing the many facets of the entertainment, lifestyle and beauty industries.
Honorees gave inspiring speeches about the importance of a national women’s history museum.
This year, four accomplished women were chosen for their professional endeavors and philanthropic efforts: actress Abigail Breslin, entrepreneur Toni Ko, fashion designer Rachel Zoe and actress Tracee Ellis Ross.”
